NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

That the Annual General Meeting of the BC Destination Marketing Organization Association

will be held on June 9th, 2023

Date: Friday, June 9th, 2023

Time: 9:00 – 9:30 am

Where: 6111 River Road, Richmond (Richmond Olympic Oval) Note: Virtual will also be available

The meeting is called for the purposes:

• To receive the financial statements of the Association for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022

• To approve the minutes of the June 27th, 2022 Annual General Meeting

• To elect nine (9) Directors

There are six (6) positions available on the Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term. 

There are three (3) positions available on the Board of Directors for the 2023-2025 term.

The BCDMOA Nomination Committee puts forth the following names for the 2023-2024 term and available positions:

1. Kelley Glazer, Destination Osoyoos

2. Carly Pereboom, Tourism Nanaimo

3. Liz Smaha, Kermodei Tourism

4. Nancy Small, Tourism Richmond

5. Meghan Tabor, Tourism Revelstoke

6. Lesley Weeks, Tourism Squamish

The BCDMOA Nomination Committee puts forth the following names for the 2023-2025 term and available positions:

1. Allison Colthorp, Tourism Chilliwack

2. Monica Dickinson, Tourism Kamloops

3. Chris Peters, Tourism Burnaby

The following Director is mid-way through term and will continue on the Board for the 2023-2024 term.

1. Colin Carson, Tourism Prince George

In accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the BC Destination Marketing Organization Association, nominations are now open.

4.6 (c) Nomination by Members

Nominations may be made by the Voting Members, provided that such nominations are in writing, each is signed by the Designated Representatives of two (2) Voting Members in good standing and are delivered or sent by registered mail, electronic mail or facsimile to the Secretary/Treasurer at the address of the Association together with the written consent(s) of the nominee(s) not later than the fifteenth (15) day prior to the AGM.

As per the bylaws, all nominations for Director positions therefore, must be received on or before May 25th, 2023. Please contact the Association’s Secretariat, Deborah Kulchiski - secretariat@tiabc.ca for a copy of the Nomination Form.
